Pure Maple Syrup
A Family Tradition for over 100 Years
Maple Hollow Pride
At Maple Hollow we pride ourselves on producing a quality product that has won national and international awards over the years. Since 1889 three generations of the Polak Family have been making quality pure maple products. Our Syrup House is located adjacent to the original site where Grandpa Charles first made pure maple syrup. His son, John, and now grandson, Joe, have continued the tradition.
Pure maple syrup is an agricultural product produced only in the spring from the sweet sap of the sugar maple tree. The sugar maple is found only in the northeastern region of the North American continent, making it’s gift of pure maple syrup a treasured and valued product. Here in Wisconsin, as winter turns to spring in March and April, we tap our own trees and collect the sap. Over a roaring wood fire the sap is “boiled down” to syrup density. About 40 gallons of sap is required to make one gallon of syrup. The syrup is then bottled, packaged and shipped to you direct from our warehouse. Quality control is of utmost importance to us. We want to give you the best Maple Syrup available.
